“This season is the end of Clementine’s journey, and that’s as much as I’ll say on that.”
Today at San Diego Comic-Con, Telltale Games Creative Director Kent Mudle left the door open to the potential for more The Walking Dead games from Telltale after Season 4.
During our Comic-Con livestream, IGN’s own Max Scoville asked Mudle about how Season 4 is being called “the final season” and if that means this is the end of Telltale’s relationship with The Walking Dead. Mudle simply responded by saying “This season is the end of Clementine’s journey, and that’s as much as I’ll say on that.”

While not a confirmation that more games are definitely coming, the implication is that Season 4 is the final game in this story, but potentially not the final season or The Walking Dead game overall.
Telltale has done The Walking Dead spin-off games like Michonne and 400 Days in the past, so future games wouldn’t necessarily need to be part of the main series after Season 4.
